I thoroughly enjoyed this thought provoking tour through an area that as a tourist I would probably not have otherwise visited. Hollis was very knowledgeable about not only the area (having grown up there) but also the political decisions that have gone against the people who live there. If you're looking got something fun and lighthearted this is not for you. But if you're interested in knowing more about people who live in the area and the struggles that gentrification brings you should be sure not to miss. Hollis also made some really good restaurant recommendations and some insta accounts that could offer further info on the topics he'd raised.

Omigosh! My son and his daughter were here on spring break and we went as a family--could not have asked for a better experience! Hollis gave us the history behind the second-line tradition and made us feel welcome and included. It is an experience you get get nowhere else. Highly recommend! If you love New Orleans, you need to do this tour!

Our tour was guided by a King on New Orleans and we were given the royal treatment. The tour lasted and hour and was two miles long. We learned about the past, present and future. It was extremely insightful and thought provoking. Safety was never an issue. We even got to meet others from the neighborhood. Everyone was friendly. Had we known about Hollis sooner we would have planned to spend more time with him.
Book your tour and explore with royalty! Thank you Hollis, I’ll come back next time.
